it's spring break and we have had a great old time. monday the kids and i drove to brooklyn and went to the new york aquarium- what a blast. i think i like aquariums more than zoos. it is kind of small, but still has lots of different things to see. it is right next to coney island and it was my first time seeing it in the almost 13 years we have lived here.
tuesday we went to the staten island zoo with the jacobs. it was another fun adventure. it's a cute little zoo. not too big but plenty of stuff to see. unfortunately my camera is still dumb so i don't have any pics. i'll have to see what mimi has. that's where these beach photos came from.
today we went to point pleasant beach. it is a little over an hour's drive from our house. it has a little boardwalk where we had some delicious funnel cake and plenty of sand and scary crashing waves. it was almost 80 degrees, but felt a little cooler on the shore. the kids would probably have fun at the beach even if it was 20 degrees. all three are just like their papa.
it's been fun, but i am pooped. i am looking forward to a babysitter for half of the day tomorrow so i can spend some time all alone... can't wait.

fun fun fun fun FUN!! there are no spring breaks in the work world..no fair! I miss you guys. If I go more than two weeks without seeing you I get withdrawls. I'm going to Chicago this weekend but the weekend after we will plan a visit.
p.s. do you think brooke will get voted off because of stopping and starting again? bah!
yea, i think brooke might be out tonight. not just because of her stop/start. someone has gotta go. i predict brooke or jason castro.

Can you believe how shocked Brooke looked when she heard she was safe? I want dread-locks to go. I think David Archuletta will win...at least I hope he does!
