it took forever to get them out the door, but papa took my little boys camping a few weekends ago... in the rain! it was about 48 degrees and it poured the whole day. he is a brave man. for the record, lilo is two and jojo is five. they had an absolute blast. they caught frogs, roasted marshmallows (in the rain), played in the rain the whole day.
in the meantime, i went shopping at my favorite thrift store with mimi and joyce (and ellie-belle) and then h and i went out for an early dinner. we also went the video store and got some fun movies to watch and then to the bakery for some sinful red velvet cake and pignoli cookies (heavenly pine nuts and almond paste in a cookie). h's friend is sleeping over and we are all enjoying the peace (and cleanliness) of having NO BOYS around. we've gotta do this more often!
