going green...and i'm alive

it's time for a change. the pink polka dot thing was getting old. i think i like this green template. it's just a template. whattaya think?

i've been in utah on an impromptu visit brought to me by my wonderful family. my sis is documenting much of our time here here. i love it. i love them.

it has been fabulous to get to know my niece anna. i had not seen her since she was a little girl. now she is 21 and amazing. she and i relate quite a bit. we are both the only brunettes in a family of blondes and we have similar smiles. i feel like she resembles me more than my sisters do. she saw me through a window and thought it was a reflection of herself. it's kind of like a "parent trap" thing going on. the only other person i have ever felt like that with is my brother brother bryan- but he's a boy.

speaking of boys. when melissa asked lily to play nicely with the kids she said, "lilo's not a kid, he's a boy!" so funny. she is all girl. love it.
