We are on Cape Cod this week for our 4th annual trip with papa's parents. They take us to the cape to stay in a timeshare here. We love being here in the fall. This month we will celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary and our honeymoon to Martha's Vineyard- an island just off the Cape.
It has been a great week. Cousins Cameron and Katie joined us for the first few days and we went to Provincetown and drove the car on the beach (this is the reason Papa insists on having an SUV instead of my dream car- a minivan) even though we only get to do it once a year. We like to drive as far away from other people as possible- in true Thatcher form. Papa and Cameron fished and Grandma and Katie and I supervised the monkeys. Katie did a great job of documenting our trip here.
Sunday we watched conference right in our little timeshare- isn't technology wonderful? I loved watching conference with family.
The rest of the week we have explored beaches and cute cape towns, went to a little natural history museum and hiked through a salt marsh, swam in the indoor pool, stayed up late talking with Grandpa and Grandma and slept in. I have had the great luxury of going jogging every day and papa has had a few fishing trips. We also got to go on a movie-dinner date thanks to Grandpa and Grandma.
Not so sure I want to return to reality... yet. We have had a great time. Cam and Katie took about a million pictures of us on the beach in hopes of getting a nice Christmas card shot. I'll post when I get them. In the meantime, check out Katie's post above (thanks again, Katie).

you make me want to go to the cape now. autumn is definitely blossoming here in CT and i'm loving it!! although we still are missing a little "crispness" in the air that comes with cooler weather.
your cousin did take great pics and i love that she married her brother's best friend. how fun is that!
